Art as coping. Expression as courage.

A lived-experience discipline founded by Marcus Moore.

This module explores what it means to navigate public benefits from the inside-the waiting rooms, the paperwork,  the interviews, the judgment, the survival, and the courage it takes to move through the system. These lessons come directly from lived experience, not theory.

Students learn how environments shape identity, how stigma impacts courage and how creative expression becomes a coping tool inside systems built for survival, not comfort. this is real life, real environments, and real lived experience- taught through the Coffee & Courage TM discipline.
